Red snapper charters

Red Snapper fishing in Destin is one of the most popular fishing trips available. Charters boats start red snapper fishing  every year on June 1st and it is a very busy time of the year for fishing in Destin.

Deep Sea fishing can be done on private charters or on party fishing boats. In this Destin fishing blog we will concentrate on private charters for red snapper fishing. Red snappers can be caught on 1/2 day fishing trips (6 hrs) or on all day fishing trips up to 12 hrs. If you are doing a 1/2 day fishing charter in Destin, you will have a choice of leaving early (around daylight) or later in the day (around 12:30 pm).

A day of red snapper fishing always starts out with catching live baits. Then we head offshore for 15-18 miles to start fishing. Bait fishing is one of the funnest parts of the fishing charter and the kids love it!
